For Thursday evening we will be having an informal social evening down by a beach in Scarborough Beach Reserve where people can come along and socialise and and either cook on the council BBQ's or grab a take away from a nearby shop. Ideal for people north of Perth who are unavailable to join in with us during the Day.
We expect people will start arriving at Scarborough Beach Reserve from the various days activities around 5pm onwards and we will have someone there earlier to guard the BBQ's and make sure we have access to them. There is plenty of parking close to the BBQ's and only about 100m walk to a Coles Supermarket and other shops, shown as point A on the Map, B of course is for the BBQ's where we will be.
We will have the BBQ basic with us like utensils, sauce, snags and bread and a bit of salad available for a gold coin or two donation or brig along your own feast or takeaway. Seating looks a bit light on so a comfy chair might also be in order.
If the weather is not friendly on the day then we will find somewhere nearby indoors where we can retreat too.
Apparently the beach and grass area is not Dog friendly but they should be okay in and around the cars.
