Local Moker Allan is willing to organise a drive along the Southern Coastal drive-Leaving from Fremantle area,along the coast to Rockingham/Penguin Island/Garden Island and then out to a place called Mundijong. Plenty of parking here,local pub and local fish and chips shop.From Mundijong,when leaving after the drive, it's along a 10 minute drive back to the Free-way. Similar to a past IMD event held a few years back.

A day trip to the York Motor Museum is being planned and while the ladies may roll their eyes at the thought of more car stuff the township of York sounds quite interesting with its very historic buildings and walks and other attractions. Okay so I need to sell it a bit better but the day will be taking the scenic route there and back and who knows what else we might find along the way.

In a similar fashion to the annual Bay in a Day drive I organise in Melbourne each year, the idea is to drive from the northern suburbs of Perth keeping as close to the Indian Ocean as practical to somewhere south of Fremantle or even Rockingham. This may become part of another activity being organised for further south or even replaced by it.
