Registrations are now being taken for Mokefest 2013 in Perth and to encourage as many Moke owners to join us in four days of Moking there are a number of options available to cater for people joining us for one day, or, for all days of MokeFest activities. Registration is per Moke and is simply a case of sending an email.

$25 - Event Registration

For $25 you can Register for all the MokeFest activities and if you register early enough you can receive a souvenir Name Badge to wear around for you and your co-pilot or family and, be able to order an Official MokeFest 2013 souvenir shirt.

$10 - Day Registration

If you have to do things like work for a living and are unable to join in with MokeFest for all days then you may like the Day Registration of $10 per day and if you register in time then you may be able to order name badges and shirts. If you would rather just turn up on the day and pay your $10 and register then you may do that, but to help with planning for numbers, please let us know when you plan to turn up.

Visitors

There will be a couple of opportunities for people join in with us to mingle amongst the Mokes and Moke owners, particularly at the Sunday morning meeting point for a big photo shoot of as many Mokes as we can get for International Moke Day.

Each event listed on this website will mention if people need to be registered to attend or not, and in most cases it will come down to our relevant Public Liability Insurance obligations, for example all vehicles on display in Kings Square will need to be registered with MokeFest.

If you come along to a meeting point to check out the Mokes, then change your mind and want to join in for the activities for the day then you can sign up on the day for $10.

Why do we require people need to Register for MokeFest?

Public Liability and related insurance policies cost money and the particular ones we have taken out to cover this event requires we have details (Name, Address and Phone Number) of all people involved. There are other costs incurred running this event, such as to display in Kings Square and to subsidise the BBQ's we plan to hold for people to socialise and keep costs down for people.

From a planning point of view if we know who and how many people are making a commitment to be apart of MokeFest 2013 then we can organise activities accordingly and focus our communications and awareness to those people to keep them up to date with what is going on. There is also a sense of belonging and being a part of something special and meeting new people that share a similar passion as you have for your Moke.

These events take a lot of time, effort, donations and lost income from many volunteers and the people attending who appreciate what is involved contribute by way of paying registration. We welcome visitors to join us at times however it is not fair to the people who have registered and those volunteering their time if we find people avoiding their registration obligations and trying to join in the activities requiring registration.
