The Main Event for Saturday is a drive led by Allan M. south from Fremantle along the coast and then inland to Mundijong for lunch.

Terrys-mokes-TshirtFor the people travelling over from the eastern states, the Mokerists, there is a T-Shirt available especially for you to acknowledge the effort of driving across the Nullarbor to MokeFest 2013 in your Moke. These will need to be ordered quickly so that they can be ready before our departure time.

The deadline for ordering the shirts is only a few days away, please order now if you would like one.

For International Moke Day the plan is to join in with the local Mini clubs annual IMD event and try to get as many Mokes as possible together at the Midland Centrepoint at 10:00am so we can take photos of all the Mokes together before we head off for the day.

Departing at 10:30am the rest of the day is planned to be a drive out east to York where people can find their lunch and the last chance to socialise with the Mokerists from the east before most of them leave for home or further travelling. York Motor Museum is worth a visit and there is apparently enough other things of interest in this town to keep everyone happy. For the locals it will be a drive back to Perth in the afternoon.

For Thursday evening we will be having an informal social evening down by a beach in Scarborough Beach Reserve where people can come along and socialise and and either cook on the council BBQ's or grab a take away from a nearby shop. Ideal for people north of Perth who are unavailable to join in with us during the Day.

On Saturday evening there is plans to hold a dinner where all Moke owners will be encouraged to come along and enjoy a meal and socialise. The venue has not been confirmed yet, however it is expected to be to the north of Perth.

If the venue for the dinner is a public venue then registration to MokeFest will not be a requirement and all are welcome to book and jon us.

The main activity for Friday is a display of as many Mokes as possible in Kings Square, Fremantle as part of MokeFest 2013 to show our Mokes to those less fortunate than us, the General Public. The display will run from 9am until 3pm and all Mokes must arrive together and leave together, however one of the conditions put on us by the Local Council is there will be no opportunity to leave with your Moke before 3pm.

All Mokes on display will need to be registered with MokeFest 2013.

MokeFest-logo-sampleTo look the part while at MokeFest 2013 you can get an official event Polo Shirt for $30 that needs to be ordered quickly and will be available to pick up at the event. There maybe a few available for sale during the event, depending on the difference between the number ordered and the minimum quantity.

The deadline for ordering the shirts is only a few days away, please order now if you would like one.

Registrations are now being taken for Mokefest 2013 in Perth and to encourage as many Moke owners to join us in four days of Moking there are a number of options available to cater for people joining us for one day, or, for all days of MokeFest activities. Registration is per Moke and is simply a case of sending an email.

Western Australian FlagMokeFest 2013 is being held in Perth, Western Australia, between September 26th to the 29th of September in 2013 with four or more days of things to do in your Moke with plenty of other Moke Owners. It is a three week or more adventure for a growing number of Moke owners and families planning to make the trek across from the eastern states.

Through out these pages you will be able to find out about the various activities and drives planned for in and around Perth as well as information for those making the journey to the west. The 29th of September is also International Moke Day so it will be a good chance for local Mokes of Perth to get a good turn out for the day and maybe take the Mug for the most Mokes for IMD away from the French.

PerthSkylineinparkThe plans for what is happening over the four days of Mokefest in Perth are slowly surfacing and finding their place and for more details have a look under Perth Activities to see what interests you.

Although I don't have a firm location or venue yet the concept of Moke Central will be used again for this event as a single place where people congregate and mingle and may even live over the four days when we are not out and about on a drive or display somewhere.
