Saturday - Rockingham Drive

The Main Event for Saturday is a drive led by Allan M. south from Fremantle along the coast and then inland to Mundijong for lunch.

Meeting Point: Fremantle E-Shed Markets Car Park Time: 10.00am

Lunch Stop: Mundijong Fish&Chips Shop/ Mundijong Pub. Buy at Shop or at the Pub.

Finish Time 2.00pm: This will leave enough time for the drive back to Karrinyup via the Kwinana Freeway for 3.00pm.

Route and Sightseeing: Meet at The E-Shed Markets car park.

Drive to South Mole and Fishing Boat Harbour: Stop for Pic's and Toilets.

Drive to Woodmans Point View Road-via Marine Terrace and Cockburn Road: Stop for Pic's.

Drive to Henderson Cliffs lookout Carpark-via Shipyards and Offshore Construction Yards: Stop- Walk to ramp for pic's overlooking the ocean to Garden Island.

Drive to Rockingham Naval Memorial Park-via Kwinana Beach Road: Stop for Toilets.

Drive to Point Peron Lookout-via Rockingham Foreshore Tourist Route: Stop for walk to lookout walkway/pic's.

Drive to Waikiki Beach Foreshore-via Tourist Route: Stop for pics/toilets.

Drive to Mundijong Fish&Chips and Pub-via Safety Bay Rd-Folly Rd-St Albans Rd-Mundijong Rd-turn left into Paterson Street: Stop: Lunch/Toilets/pic's. Depart Mundijong by 2.00pm.

Drive to Kwinana Freeway-Via Soldiers Rd/Abernethy Rd/Thomas Rd/Anketell Rd/Kwinana Freeway-return to Karrinyup.

With three days of things to see and do in Hobart you could find yourself waiting for your ship to come in at Constitution Dock. Of course the Salamanca Markets is just next door to our big Moke display on the Sunday while Mt Wellingtion is just up the hill and if you are lucky is might not be covered in cloud. There will be plenty of time to do your own thing too and check out the nooks and crannys of old Hobart Town.
