A chance for people travelling over to Perth to MokeFest 2013 to share from where and when they are leaving, what their rough plan is for getting there and getitng back for people to organise themselves to travel in the safety and comfort of numbers. A trip is just a drive unless it is shared.

Mazy Moke ready for MokeFest 2013

I will be leaving from Nowra on Sat 14th Sept in convoy with Biggles aka Tony and Ruth. We'll be going via Wagga Wagga, Narrandera, Hay and Mildura, providing plenty of scope for meeting up with others along the way.
We should get to Quorn in good time, camping overnight around Hay on Sat and perhaps making another stop on the Sunday night, a decision about which will be made later.
For the return journey I plan on convoying again with Tony and Ruth, at this stage taking pretty much the same route back I guess, unless we discuss changes to this in the interim.

Current plans for Faye and I are;

Leaving Devonport on the Spirit on evening of Friday 13th Sept. Arrive Melbourne on the morning of 14th and either join a convoy (if one is about to depart) or go solo arriving SA meeting place by noon on the Monday.

Travel with convoy to WA requiring roadhouse accommodation each night (Faye's basic needs).

Faye will fly from Perth to Sydney on morning of Sunday 29th. I intend to tag onto convoy back to Melbourne in shortest possible time, camping if required.

Ruth and I plan on leaving early Sat 14 Stopping at the Yass service centre about 9.00 am Where we will hope fully meet up with some Sydney mokers  ( Samm, may be some others) when I put the details up on the Forum.

From there we'll drive to Hay or beyond and camp the night and then onto port Agusta arriving in the evening of the Sun 15th.

 Vicki Mazy will be traveling with us too
